The Delaware Department of Education introduces Student Success Plans (SSP) this year.  The goal of SSPs is to empower students to explore possibilities, develop a plan, and achieve their goals for the future.  Central to the SSP program is Career Cruising, a user-friendly website that students can use to learn about careers and schools, set goals, and develop a plan for academics, activities and other experiences they'll need during high school.  Teachers and Guidance Counselors will help guide students in developing their individual SSP in the 8th grade.  The student's SSP will continue with him/her through high school and beyond.
